2nd Annual Our Town, Your Town Celebration!
The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Our Town, Your Town Celebration will return for its second year. The date of this year’s event will be Saturday, June 22, 2013 and it is shaping up to be even bigger and better than last year.
“In the early stages of planning for this year’s event, Missouri Eagle graciously agreed to sponsor bringing Monster Energy’s Freestyle Motocross Team to the Our Town, Your Town Celebration“, reported Byron Dudley, chairman for the event. “This posed a wonderful challenge for us because of the anticipated increase in traffic the FMX will bring to the event as well as the need for lighting in the area where the show will be taking place,” stated Dudley.
The Chamber has partnered with the Lebanon I-44 Speedway to hold this year’s event at the racetrack. As the chamber began to investigate possible solutions, the Lebanon I-44 Speedway and General Manager Kevin Greven provided the perfect solution for a partner as the racetrack provides ample space for parking, vendors, as well as the needed lighting. In addition, they have successfully hosted the Freestyle Motocross Team in the past.
“This partnership provides attendees an action packed evening with the Family Game Zone, Monster Energy’s FMX Show, racing, plenty of food and will conclude with a large fireworks show,” stated Dudley. “This year’s event will truly offer something for everyone.”
On behalf of the committee, chamber staff and board of directors, we would like to publicly thank the Lebanon I-44 Speedway and General Manager Kevin Greven, Missouri Eagle and David Matlock for their assistance in bringing a wonderful evening of entertainment for the entire family.
